Thank you Valerie for ilovesweden.net !
French filmer Valerie Tomayan has made an incredible work, presenting all her favourite Swedish artists on her website ilovesweden.net. As you might guess from the name, Valerie loves Swedish music and has been filming a lot in Sweden during the past years. On the website you will find beautiful presentations of many artists, thanks to Valerie!
More songs released in Japan!
Today I had a quick look at the webpage of my record company IRMA Records in Japan and found that the acoustic versions now are released, on two different albums!
Klas Gullbrand who is a fantastic guitarist and arranger helped me record stripped down acoustic versions of three of my songs; Piece of flesh, Borrow my bike and You’ll get in a couple of months ago. I am very happy about the result and really hope you will enjoy them too. You can now buy them on iTunes, either as Feather and Down – Kitchen Sessions or on a compilation album called IRMA Girls along with songs of other great artists.
The commercial for Olympus now ready!
In the middle of May I took the train to Malmö to meet Japanese composer Yoko Kanno and her assistent Keisuke Tominaga. We were going to record the vocals for a song Yoko wrote for the commercial of Olympus latest camera called Pen. It was very nice to meet them, and also extremely nice to record the song in Gula Studion with engineer Jens Lindgård. It’s a legendary studio and I felt honoured to record the song there. Big hug to all of you!
So…here is the result, running in Japanese TV now. Just click Read more to watch it!
Piece of flesh available on iTunes Europe and Spotify!
Feather and Down’s first single Piece of flesh was released in Japan this spring. I am happy to announce that it is now available for purchase on iTunes Europe!
You can also listen to it on Spotify. Yay!
