I got a package from Taka in Tokyo asking me to use what was in it to film a little in Stockholm. It was a Lomokino 35 mm camera. Me and two friends got out and filmed at least 15 film rolls…we had a great time but our hands were freezing since it was one of the first days of spring. It turned out this way!
The song is Big Yellow Taxi from my new album Revisits.
Better late than never… Feather and Down’s second album was released in Japan June 6th!
The album is called Revisits and it’s a cover album of songs from the 70′, 80′s and 90′s. Songs that I grew up with and that means something special to me. It is produced by Klas Gullbrand. We had a great time recording these old hits in our own
way and we got great help from Jonas Drejholt who arranged and played piano on two songs.
At the moment you can buy it on iTunes Japan but eventually also on iTunes Worldwide.
So it’s time for me to go to Tokyo again!
I am very happy to announce that Feather and Down will perform live at the Pal Fes Festival in the Hikarie Hall, Shibuya on August 25th. The festival will be broadcasted live by MTV Japan. I am looking forward to meeting friends, eating good food and of course to perform in Tokyo again!
The Dark Mountain Project is arranging a festival where music, theatre and film is combined with discussions and workshops about our future. Read more about this interesting project at www.darkmountain.se Book May 26th in your calendar!
Feather and Down is invited to play, and I am happy to announce that amazingly talented Anders Scherp is going to join me on a few songs. He is also playing with his own band af Scherp.

I am doing two solo gigs and am very, very excited to come and visit this beautiful city once again. On March 30th I am playing at the Carlife Store in Naka Meguro and on April 1st at Saravah Tokyo. If I am lucky maybe the cherry blossoms will bloom….I cross my fingers!
Please come and join us at Fotografiska in Stockholm on February 23rd!
Me and the two amazing guitarists Klas Gullbrand and Mattias Fjellström will play songs from the album for you and it’s gonna be a great night so don’t hesitate to come. We start at 9 pm but please come earlier if you can. The view from the bar is stunning and there is a lot of beautiful art to see!
French filmer Valerie Tomayan has made an incredible work, presenting all her favourite Swedish artists on her website ilovesweden.net. As you might guess from the name, Valerie loves Swedish music and has been filming a lot in Sweden during the past years. On the website you will find beautiful presentations of many artists, thanks to Valerie!
Today I had a quick look at the webpage of my record company IRMA Records in Japan and found that the acoustic versions now are released, on two different albums!
Klas Gullbrand who is a fantastic guitarist and arranger helped me record stripped down acoustic versions of three of my songs; Piece of flesh, Borrow my bike and You’ll get in a couple of months ago. I am very happy about the result and really hope you will enjoy them too. You can now buy them on iTunes, either as Feather and Down – Kitchen Sessions or on a compilation album called IRMA Girls along with songs of other great artists.
